Events Section

We’re very excited to be accepted as members of the AWIA. We believe it’s very important to stay abreast of what our peers in the Australian web industry are doing, saying and thinking. Not in a stalking way, just in general.
We also love networking at events – there’s just so many friendly people to meet!
The next big event we’ll be attending is the Connect Now Conference in April. It’s focused on the convergence of social media, emerging technologies and enterprise. MORE »
Our Sydney-based clients had a very yummy Christmas this year!
We commissioned Polka Dot Cookies to create some delicious shortbread biscuits decorated with our brand new logo (more news on the logo and our upcoming website overhaul soon).
To make them festive we also added a few Christmas trees and cute little dove shapes as well as the logo biscuits. Not only did they look great but tasted amazing and were a big hit with our clients!
A very big thank you to Libby, Ruth and the team for baking, decorating and packing them for us. We can’t wait to have another chance to design and order some more.
We’d like to take this opportunity to publicly thank all of our clients for a fantastic year. We’ve got big plans for Morning Copy in 2010 and we’re so glad you’re going to be a part of them.
Wishing you all a happy and safe Christmas and New Year!

Next week we’ll be attending the much anticipated Carsonified event of the year – the Future of Web Design conference in NYC.
It’s the third year running in NYC, so it’s sure to be a well-oiled machine.
There’s a cool mix of speakers from small and large companies as well as successful freelancers. We’ve just recently started using CoTweet to manage multiple clients’ Twitter accounts, so are looking forward to hearing Kyle Sollenberger speak.
We’re also hoping to meet some fellow designer and developer peeps and soak up a load of inspiration and knowledge.
If you see us there, don’t be shy, we’d love to chat! It’s our first time in NYC, so if you don’t want to talk web colours and CSS, we’ll gladly take restaurant and bar suggestions :)
See you there,
Dillon & Christie (click our names for our Twitter accounts)

Many companies would love to donate their time, but can’t find the time. At Morning Copy, we usually find that making the time to work free really does pay.
Not only does supporting charities with free web design work make us feel warm inside, it’s a great opportunity to showcase our skills to new markets and individuals, while developing business and community contacts. MORE »
